Like the other day when him and Ivy got hold of some markers and colored all over the kitchen floor! i was furious! but when i said "William you know we only color on paper!" he quickly retorted..."but mom, i was pretending the floor was paper!" how do you argue with that? let alone keep a stern face and not giggle a little!
Or on the fourth of July when grandma Karen told him to come eat dinner! he said i am not hungry, i don't want to eat!..... then paused and said well i could eat dessert, yeah! I'll be hungry for dessert!
WHAT BABIES EAT!....we were out front yesterday when we heard the neighbors baby crying, and he said: mom do you hear that?
me: yes, the baby sound upset. what do you think its sad about?
William: i think its hungry...
me: what do you think the baby wants to eat?
William: i don't know... salad, yeah salad and carrots and stuff.
me.. trying my hardest not to laugh: do you think babies like to eat salad and carrots?
William: oh yes! its there favorite! but i don't like them, its only for babies not for William!
me: laughing....
sigh.... kids are great!

Cracks me up because i can just picture you actually sighing as you sit there and shake your head like you are so put out when really you just want to laugh.
