Ivy turns two!

so on Saturday we had Ivy's birthday party! she had a great day! full of special treats and treatments!

she woke up and got to have her favorite breakfast of hard boiled eggs( but only the yokes!) fallowed by pink frosting and an assortment of candy as i decorated her cake!

then she had a Backyardigan marathon while her and William played and made an enormous mess, then it was off to Bradley's birthday party for William.

while i had a special outing with ivy, she got to pick out some new nail polish and a treat! she chose a "wa-e pop" ... lolly pop, so we got a whole bag full of them... seriously the bag was almost as big as her! and it evoked so many smiles as she carried...well dragged it down the isles, only stopping to show everyone who passed by what she was getting!LOL! she was so excited!

when we got back home she enjoyed about 5 suckers as we painted her nails with the coral shade of pink polish she had picked out at the store. we then did her hair and put her in her new party dress. (that i just think is adorable on her.)

she then chose to watch Disney's beauty and the beast while we waited for her party to start...she fell asleep in the middle of it! which we decided was a good thing. since the real action would start at 6!......

William picked out this sparkly hot pink treasure box and filled it with all sorts of goodies!...
lots of colorful necklaces, strawberry lip gloss, and nail polish with gem decals! she was very pleased!daddy got her, her very own play laptop, complete with mouse!
and in pink! she loves it! the infamous birthday cake!
now i say infamous because it took so much effort and error before i got it right!
but am so pleased with how it turned out!
