lunch with grandma Stevenson!so it all started when the sea food commercials started to bombard our TV! showing very appetizing pictures of the may varieties of "now in season" shrimp.... which for some reason always grabs Williams attention.. go figure?!
so like always, i asked the kids what they would like for lunch listing off the usual: Pb&j, chicken noodle soup, nachos? to which William rejected all... and then out of the blue said "mom lets have shrimp!"
and as luck would have it, good old grandma Stevenson was over (she is not really old but for story sake... lets just go with it~!) and as most children know...when grandma is over the kids pretty much get what they want! (a perk of being a grandma/ grandchild) so out we went, to take the kids to try some shrimp!
when the plate of shrimp was brought out i had my doubts that William would even try it! but to our surprise after drenching his plate with hot pink sweet and sour dipping sauce he picked a shrimp up off of the plate and ate it!
it was so funny to see the different expressions on his face, till he finally swallowed his first bite and then smiled and said "i like shrimp!" and finished the whole pile of shrimp in minutes!

PS..... ivy enjoyed it too!
