so other then the summer, the holidays are my favorite time of the year, the family close together the excitement of the munchkins opening presents and the lights are all wonderful! how ever i just found out that in Australia Christmas is in the summer! how awesome is it that their Santa clause comes to town riding a surf board!! and Christmas dinner is a picnic at the beach! sounds like my kind of party! i think a white Christmas is totally over rated! who wants to be snowed in freezing there butts off and often times sick with a cold at Christmas, not to say that snow doesn't have its charm but if i had a choice we would move to Australia! not only do they blend my two favorite times of year, but they also have amazing accents, and Shawn and i both think it would rock if our kids spoke with an Aussi twang! who knows maybe William could be the next crocodile hunter! crikey!!! :) but back to reality.... i love Christmas time be it in the sun, snow, rain or the land down under. as long as i have the love of my family and we are all well, then really i have nothing to complain about. i truly am blessed, and couldn't ask for more.

If only we were moving to Australia. I would love that. But not for surfing fat men that don't represent the true meaning of Christmas. But for the great weather a around. And for a good out of country living experience.
