it has been a CRAZY BUSY week for me....

Monday we went and explored  AZ Challenger Space center!  it was a free admission day so i thought ... why not? and i am so glad we went be cause the kids LOVED it! highlights being the electric light show and the liquid nitrogen demonstration!

Tuesday,  ivy decided  she had had enough of her long hair so we went and got it  all chopped off, (it was sad for me)but she really loves it short. it was so cute to hear her carrying on conversations with the stylist.. she talked about her grandparents who live in Africa and how they are like the new mommies and daddies for all the missionaries there. and how sad she was when she found out their dog cinnamon died a few moths ago. to how happy she was that her new hair cut reminded her of her grandmas Stevenson hair!

then we had to go grocery shopping, the kids had to pick out Wednesdays meals to bring over to my dear friends house who was going to baby sit them, they had an orange theme going on... as they picked mac and cheese, Cheetos and baby carrots,as well as juice boxes and clam chowder just in case!(don't judge me!) and then spent a good chunk of time at the library, where William did more research on mushrooms and other fungi as that has been his latest fascination. after that, i got to spend a few hours with Shawn before heading out to spend the night at a friends house where we stayed up into the wee hours of  the morning just chatting away...passing the time and keeping our minds off the next days event.

Wednesday  morning i drove my friend and her son to phoenix children hospital where he had to have a few procedures done, i was glad to be able to be there and felt honored she chose me to be her support for the day. i was so grateful to my dear friend for watching my kids from 6 am to 2pm and for her hilarious text updates! it kept the mood a little more light when things started to get a little scary at the hospital.

LOL RIGHT!?!

Thursday the kids and i worked on putting together their book reports for the afternoon co-op. it s a new group, then the one i have previously been a part of (and maybe i will go into that at some later date) but as for now, i am really happy to be associating myself and kids with just a really fun group of families.  the kids did great! and i was so proud of them for getting up in front of ever one  and sharing their books.

Friday the kids woke up super early for some reason, so we were able to get all our home school lessons done before "park day" which was great! the kids had a great time at park day, William met a new friend who he palled around with and that makes me more happy then i can even begin to explain! ivy of course had a blast socializing with every kid she could find and decided to start a "girls minecraft club" (sorry no pictures)

this upcoming week is sure to be equally as busy if not more so, so i am going to try and get some good sleep tonight... i love my life! :)
