~ every year we take the kids to sleigh bells to pick a special Christmas ornament and then to see Santa! (the free mug of cocoa is nice too!)
William w/Santa at sleigh bells last year
last year when we went to sleigh bells to see Santa he asked William what he wanted,
William said" a big bra!" lol
Santa looked at me pleading for an explanation and so i corrected the miss understanding,
and told him what William was trying to say was "a big brawl" ( a transformer toy)
we all got a good laugh out of that one!
~we have a big Christmas eve dinner that is only topped by thanks giving! but the whole family gets together and we eat, and sing, and enjoy each others company, also the kids get to open one special present! (which was my favorite part as a child!)
~ i love to do the whole Christmas baking thing, so every year the kids and i bake lots of yummy Christmas treats and then drop them off to our neighbors and friends.
( it makes me happy!)
~i love decorating the tree! and when we do, we put the Christmas music on and it just really gets me into the Christmas spirit!
~some thing i would like to start doing is: celebrate my dutch heritage and do the whole DEC. 6th thing. which is... on DEC.6th Santa does a "test run" if you will, and to the kids who leave their shoes out side the door, wake up to find a little treat or treasure in them! now how fun is that!!!

I just wanted to tell you that I am so with you on Little Women. I'm actually watching it this very moment. Nothing like a good Christmastime cry, right?
