so yesterday while i was at the doctors, i decided that the kids and i should get our flu shots while we were there! (mean mom, right!) so, to the complete dismay of the children we all got "pokeys" it was very sad. but the kids got over it with a FUN trip out to lunch with grandma! :)
but last night Ivy and I had a tuff time. she got up at 2 AM saying her "pokey" hurt and she just couldn't go back to sleep. while i was up for the same reason, plus the stupid infection that wont go away! (but that's beside the point) any ways, after 2 hours of trying to get back to sleep i decided we should have a prayer...
as i was praying every time Ivy agreed with what i said she would promptly say... "yeah yeah!"
for example:
" please help Ivy and me to feel better"
she would then echo" yeah,yeah!"
and with such enthusiasm! it made me feel like i was at some sort of church revival where every one shouts hallelujah and amen as the preacher speaks! ( you know like in the movies)
any ways, she just kept on agreeing with all that i said...( I wish that happened more often)
and at the end of the prayer she said AMEN so loud, i was afraid she was gonna wake up William and Shawn!
but it made me laugh! so i thought i would share!
