happy birthday william!

William wanted a STAR WARS party for his 4th birthday! which i was pretty excited about...( he is finally branching out from transformers!) but any how~

the festivities began at 6pm in which we had some of Williams favorite foods... PIZZA! chips and soda!.. i know not the healthiest of meals but its was sooo good and worth every calorie!

the floor was blanketed in black and red balloons that the kids enjoyed fighting with!... such is the nature of little boys!

and then we had a special guest come!
Darth Vader himself!
who then accepted a light saber challenge from the birthday boy!
what do you do when Darth Vader gots you by the head!?!
needless to say he was a big hit with the kids and parents alike!
( how ever Ivy and Stockton kept a safe distance.)

then on to birthday cake!
Ivy found a cozy place under the table to eat her cake!i pitifully attempted to make a death star cake... which luckily tasted really good because, it was kind of embarrassing to look at... how ever i maintain the stance of" it wasn't my fault the frosting was purple and not black! false advertising i tell you!" but at least he enjoyed it! and i did get a few compliments! be it they, i am sure were out of pity! lol
... next year i will listen to Shawn and just buy a cake!

after cake and ice cream William opened his presents. and i tell you he made out like a bandit!

Williams best friend Stockton got him an iron man toy... which he loves!
grandma and grandpa Stevenson got him some incredible bionicle sets!
(he ended up with 6 new bionicles!)... which he loves!
another favorite was the Darth Vader mask and voice changer!
the kids couldn't get enough of it!
he got so many more wonderful gifts and had such a wonderful day! so thank you too all the friends and family who made his birthday such a wonderful one!
~and an extra spacial thanks to Brady! you made his night!

he had so much fun that even after all the kids had gone, he was up into the late hours of the evening putting together toys with dad and Brady! till he finally conked out in daddy's arms!
what a fun day!
