one of our families favorite summer activities is picking berries and other yummy produce at the many local farms here in Sherwood.
today we went and picked strawberries at Koch family farm.
it was lots of fun!
but as it is still early in the season, the berries were not at picking peek,
however,
we still were able to pick 4.5 pounds of wonderful red ripe strawberries in less the half an hour so it wasn't a total loss.

Ivy was a little upset over a strawberry that she "accidentally" stepped on....
and consequently stuck to the bottom of her shoe!

we will definitely be back when there is less time needed to be spent searching for ripe ones
and more time picking big fat yummy ones galore!!
