we have been trying to spend more time as a family doing fun things together, building stronger bonds and memories. developing interests in the kids (other then video games and cartoons) so Shawn decided it would be fun to take William to the hobby store to get a few model plains to take to the park and fly around...

(as picnics are Ivy's new obsession!)
so on the way to the park we stopped to get the kids favorite...
fried chicken, chips and soda. (healthy i know!)
but we all enjoyed it thoroughly! ...
so did the ants!***
we went to the Scottsdale train park and had a marvelous afternoon!
flying planes, running about the park,
playing on the fun structures,
riding the train that goes around the whole park
and taking a good round or two on the carousel.
it was a fantastic outing...
