ivy bug is three today!

Today Ivy turned 3 years old!

since we are having her actual party on Friday.

we made today a special one.... full of her favorites!

birthday girl breakfast:

scrambled eggs and hot cocoa!eaten while she watched the movie of her choice:

next she spent some quality time with her favorite frog in the world!
(going in for the birthday kiss!)then it was off to the park....Ivy loves the park!!

after that, the bug hunt began! for weeks now they have been trying to catch a dragon fly,
and i think heavenly father sent her his own special birthday gift!
because this one pretty much just flew right into her hands!
and it made her day!

when Shawn got home we headed out to target,
so she could pick out any toy she wanted!!!
she picked 2 little tiger cubs ... grand total $4.98!

she also got to pick a movie to watch on the big screen down stairs!
she chose: (and let me just say i LOVED it!)

we had pizza and Slurpee's for dinner!
(while we watched the flick!)uncle Brady made a surprise visit! and brought Ivy a little gift!
of CANDYAND JEWELRY! (he knows what girls like!)

we topped off the evening with some birthday brownies!
