Sun and Stephanie!

i got to go on a mini vacation to Arizona as a birthday present

for my very best-est friend Stephanie!

and it was fantastic!

this is me waiting in the airport trying hard not to make eye contact with the insane amount of freakish looking people on my flight!... i am not even kidding!!! i had a mini panic attack because i thought for sure our plane was gonna get taken down by a few of them! luckily, the only surprise on the flight was when the guy sitting next to me pulled a full size pizza out of his brief case!LOL

some thing great about AZ is the citrus!

and Joey and Stephie have a wonderful lemon tree (as well as a few other verity of citrus trees) that were in full bloom! so what do you do with lemons?...

make lemonade!

(that slightly resembles pee in a cup) Mmmmm!!
we did more then just squeeze lemons thou....

we went to the deer valley rock art center

this DELICIOUS plate of nachos can be had at "the sliver spur"... good food,
but the waiter was a little to ummm... shall i say "attentive"
(to put it nicely!)

i got to have dinner with...
my oma, cousins, aunt and uncle and...
all there kids that i haven't seen in about 10 years!
so that was fun... and yummy!
(out of respect for my girl cousins i will not post the group shot i took)

i also got to go to the mesa temple...
which was awesome!~see there i am~
it was a fun trip!
and i am so glad i got to go! so thank you again to all who made it possible!
