so i thought it would be fun to blog about my secret passions.... or at least some little known things about me.
my favorite kind of music is alternative rock or pop rock, Emo, i guess you could call it,pretty much anything with intelligent lyrics and a good melody. groups like: the fray, my chemical romance, all American rejects, maroon 5, dash board confessional, our lady peace ect. Shawn hates it! LoL but it makes me happy! so i listen to it when he is not home! and some times when he is. :)
i love piercings and when i turned 18 i got my tongue pierced, (that shocks a lot of people) well at least the ones who don't know me that well. i have had 5 piercings in my life. one i did myself with a safety pin...bad idea, so it was only in for a day, but i was so proud of it. and for that one day i showed it off like a battle scar! all red and infected! sick! (the things teenagers do.) although i think nose rings are disgusting.
my favorite American idol right now is David Cook despite the fact he thinks Mandy Moore is the epitome of womanly perfection. although i have a special place in my heart for David Archuleta, i just want to pinch his cheeks and rub his head! he is so cute! (in a little brother kind of way!)
i can't stand classical music it makes me seriously angry! so if you want to put me in a bad mood play some Beethoven.
my favorite dessert is ice cream, and my favorite flavors are mint chip, rocky road, moose tracks, and mocha almond fudge. although i have a strict no eating ice cream alone policy, it is a social dessert!!! and only really depressed, or pregnant, or depressed pregnant people are allowed to eat it by them selves.
if i had one wish, i have absolutely no idea what i would wish for..... i would probably give it to Shawn, cause i am pretty happy with what I've got. no, no, i take it back i would wish that no matter what i ate or how little i exercised i could never gain weight! that i would be a fit size 4 for the rest of my life! yeah!!! that's good wish! a little vain and selfish, but good! hmmm, now if i were to have an in depth conversation with my self about it, i would probably change my mind, because i can be a size 4 on my own with out any magical powers, just a little hard work and self control. so i guess i should use my wish on something i can't accomplish on my own. like grow my own money trees or something! i don't know.... i will just give it to Shawn and he can decide. :)(that's the *white trait in me)

i think that singing by myself in front of people is more scary then holding a scorpion. and i am still trying to figure out why, because it never bothered me when i was younger. singing that is, scorpions have always bothered me!
i can't dance. well i can but it takes me a while to learn and even then its not that impressive. despite the incredible rhythm of the rest of my family! it's just harder for me. but it is still fun to try! :)
i love to paint, draw, write, sing, act, the arts are my favorite past time. to bad i don't excel in any of them. LoL
