its hard to believe 2011 is coming to a close. its been a great year for us, full of fun trips and lots of family memories. we have been blessed with good health and and a steady paycheck. we have made some new friends. the kids got to try new things. and we got 2 new pets..even tho they are not fuzzy, they are growing on me. :)
and now as we start this new year we get to face new challenges together and grow in different ways...and i have faith that this new year will be even better!
a few resolutions of my own are...
spiritual goals:
1) pray and read my scriptures every day..."if you don't have time to pray and read your scriptures every day, you are much more busy then heavenly father ever intended!"
2) go through all the missionary discussions with William, and prepare him for baptism... (this also includes dunking his head underwater without him freaking out!)
3) bare my testimony at least once from the pulpit this year.
emotional goals:
1) spend more one on one quality time with my kids and Shawn each day, let them know how important they are to me, and how much i love them, through my actions. example... choose to spend time with them over dinking around on Facebook.
2) blog at least once a week... like an online journal! i want to be able to share my thoughts and life with those i love, and who are far away.
3) i want to develop a new skill... i am leaning toward sewing but i would also love to work on the guitar some more too. so maybe i will do both?! (ambitious i know!)
physical goals:
1) i want to reach my "goal weight" by working out 3-5 times a week and by making healthy eating choices.
2) do something physical with my kids at least 2x a week be it parks, or hikes, swimming, or running around a track... i want us all moving together.
3) get all dressed up and out of the house for date night with Shawn at least once a month!
