DAVID COOK !!!

anyone who knows me, knows that DC is my favorite singer in the world!

so when i heard he was coming to OR. i knew i had to go!
so i put it on the calendar! and i dropped some (not so subtle) hints to Shawn
that it was something i really really wanted to do! how ever, as Shawn is not a DC fan...
my efforts were rendered useless!
how ever...at the very last minute and with the boys help

Becky and i decided that we would try and get door tickets to the David Cook concert!

this is our journey!...

it was 6:15 when we finally decided to go for it! keep in mind the concert started at 7:30 AND in Salem.. which is about a 30-40 min drive form where we were!

**you will have to excuse the fact that since we were not planning on going, i didn't have time to get ready, so no make up at all in these pics!

i captured a little of our excitement on the way...

WE MADE IT !!!

and we got pretty good seats too! i tried to get a shot with the stage behind me,
but it was too dark... :(the show begins!David cook was only a couple hundred feet away!

he did this really cool unplugged version of "lie" and it was so awesome!if you look hard you can just barely make out him and his white guitar!

unfortunately.. i was unaware that you could zoom the video before you pressed record!
you learn something new every day!
( i just wish i learned that before the concert! )
