i am gonna start a co-op preschool for William, after months of trying to get one started it has finally been realized! and i am way excited! it will be a smaller group of kids and only meet once a week. until the fall when we will bump up the number of kids and the days we meet. i just really hope William will behave! and be excited about meeting new friends and learning new things! and not need to sit in my lap the whole time!LOL
his favorite things are still transformers and he will have long and in depth conversations with you if you were to mention any of there names, he is eagerly awaiting the Easter bunny to bring him "bone crusher" and candy! he says the Easter bunny is like Santa and cant wait! he put the two together and it shocked me that he made the comparison all on his own. smart kid!
my new favorite William story is how last week we were having a yes no fight...."yes you need to take a bath!" "no he yells! "yes! no! yes! no! yes! no! so after a few minutes of that he looked at me and put his hands on my cheeks and in a very mater of fact tone said " mom you need to stop saying yes because i will say no forever! " my jaw hit the floor and then try as i may i could not stop laughing... such a big personality in such a tiny kid. can't wait till he's a teenager! (cringe)
i have also been trying to work with ivy, getting her to talk more and i think it is working, as she is saying more words every week. although i sometimes wonder if i am the only one who understands what she says. she has a habit of talking with her mouth closed, that silly girl. and if i could just get her to open her mouth, she might be speaking fluently!
i dread the fact that like her brother Ivy has entered the terrible two's 6 months early! and tantrums run rampant in our home, and i am surprised no one has called the cops on suspicion of child abuse the way ivy can scream!
she is so cute though even when she is angry as all get up! she loves animals and fears nothing, if i let her she would cuddle a spider! she is very aware of William and the first thing she does in the morning is find William and give him a big hug and kiss as if they had been apart for years! she hates it when William is napping, and tries so hard to wake him up so they can play some more. (William does not enjoy this) and every night in his prayers he says "please ivy don't scream and wake me up!" LOL
we have been enjoying the sun while it has been out, spending most of our day out side and at the park or in the yard! we are trying to decide what to grow in our garden this year and they can't wait for the strawberries and other berry bushes we have to grow again! they have been excited to see the return of the lady bugs! and we find them every where! my daffodils are starting to pop up and that always makes me happy! spring can be such a fun time!
